2020 Pantone Color of the Year!

I’m BLUE! Pantone Classic Blue to be exact!

Fashion is cyclical and as we see trends going to traditional looks with higher necklines and longer hems of course the 2020 Pantone color of the year follows suit with…Classic Blue!

Now, it does not mean things will look dated, in fact, styles are modern and edgy with a nod to nostalgia.  We’ve seen an influx of movie remakes, mix-mashes of old and new art styles and media appealing to a simpler time and lifestyle.  

Classic Blue has a regal air.  It is often associated with confidence and excellence hence the Blue Ribbon awarded to a first place winner.  It happens to be one of my favorite colors for its calming effects and how it reminds me of a happy place by a picturesque beach.  Coincidentally, you will find accents of blue in our Liliana Downtown decor because, well, it is one of my happy places and we want our customers to have an excellent experience in our boutique.
